x I like is a new Xbox social network. The idea behind it is to helps gamers connect to each other and share their thoughts on Xbox games via micro-reviews, with an easy to use an intuitive Web 2.0 interface and backend.

The good news is the site just opened in beta, if you wanna have a sneak peak just hit the application form page, and provide the following invite code when prompted: "idolikex".

For those of you addicted to the most original and popular site where Xbox consoles talk by themselves (dudes, it's GamerDNA's 360Voice!), if you visited your Xbox blog today, you might have noticed a new link on the left.

The Friend Finder is now in good company, with your Live Center gamer profile right above it. Thank you 3V team and ChangeAgent in particular, your ever growing community spirit amazes me. And hopefully this is a nice add for all 360voice fans out there too :)

NXE: Avatars on your Vista desktop

If you were lucky enough to join the New Xbox Experience Preview program, or just want to know more about the new Avatars and get ready to have your own, head on to Windows Live Gallery and grab this sidebar gadget for Windows Vista.

It lets you save up to 10 gamertags and shows their Avatars 2 at a time. Perfect to see how your friends alter ego on Xbox Live changes over time.

I started another little project last week, now known with the name of "Xbox Calendar". Before you read on, keep in mind I consider it to be in beta stage, expecially for the short time it has been in development, but hey! It surely gets the job done!

So what's it all about? The (Unofficial) Xbox Calendar presents you the release dates of most past, present and future games for Xbox, in a variety of ways / formats. This includes retails as well as Live Arcade games, and two different regions you can choose: North America and Europe. You can also run a text search to find your most anticipated game and see when you'll be able to find it in store. Sounds good? Give it a try!

And if you have Windows Vista, you may enjoy the little Sidebar Gadget I coded today too. It is currently awaiting approval for inclusion in Windows Live Gallery, I will update the post when it's up so check back if interested :) Here's a tiny preview.

No, I haven't gone insane.. Yet. That's only the custom title I just got for kicking around chickens in the recently launched Fable 2 minisite, over at Xbox.com.

Following the trend of the pub games, the site lets you play a mini-game as well as an interactive story, and it will reward you with gold and unique items if (WHEN!) you will buy and actually play the retail game. Voices on the street say this is the stuff you can win:

Xbox Live Friend Finder is the very first custom app I developed for Xbox Live. I started it on my own in mid 2006 and then joined forces with my good friend Squidpunch for a while, over at 360FriendSpot.com.

War World coming to Xbox Live Arcade

War World is the name of the new this person shooter coming to Xbox Live Arcade this Wenesday, October 1st. Keep an eye out for this fast paced games that mixes unique action, tactical gameplay, four-game-modes multiplayer action and a 100-level single player campaign. Developed by Third Wave Games and published by Ubisoft, the game lets you choose from 16 different mechanoids, each with its own special abilities and advantages.

A new social experience for gamers

I stumbled upon this site a few days ago and instantly noticed that something HUGE was going on. Raptr is a social platform for gamers from all around the world and covering pretty much every platform. It tracks your gaming activity in an amazing amount of details, lets you keep an eye on your friends and find new gamers like you. Founded in 2007 by the XFire co-founder and world champion gamer Dennis Fong, the site is said to be still in beta, but trust me it has so much to offer that you can't miss out.
